Wind me up and watch me go...

Thanks again to everyone who sent in quotes for The Big Quote Post! It turned out great. There were a lot of great quotes there and I was pleasantly surprised to have over 50 people participate. Y'all rock. If you haven't checked it out, make sure you scroll on down (or click the link ;)) and go check it out. It's long but it's worth the read. ;)

I meant to post this Saturday Survey yesterday but I saved it as a draft instead of publishing because I was otherwise distracted and not paying much attention to which button I was clicking on. Whatever, a day later here we have it. ;)

Saturday Survey #4567901

A couple friends. Boyfriend once in a while but only when I call him by his last name, lol.

Have you ever fooled around with someone who was "just a friend"?
Yeah.

Who is your biggest enemy?
No one. I don't fuck around with that kind of drama.

Who's the last person you talked to on the phone?
A wrong number, lol.

Bad bad? Nope.
Bad good? Yes.

Does it bother you when people try to make you jealous?
Not at all. It's more amusing than anything.

Probably. I'm pretty blunt and I know that comes off as rude at times but I don't mean to be.

Does toast scare you when it pops out of the toaster?
I don't really eat toast so, no.

Would you rather be tied up or handcuffed during sex?
Depends on my mood and what we're doing.

Do you like to incorporate food into sex?
Not often but once in a while it's okay.

What was the last thing you spent more than $10 on?
Gasoline to make the car go vrooom.

Sure. Everything is weird to someone. Cars would be one thing. I got passed by a sleek and sexy Aston Martin Vanquish the other day and almost came.

Would you be insulted if someone told you that you were "just like your father"?
Nope, not at all. I'd take it as a compliment.

Do you Twitter?
Yeah.

Would you ever want to own your own business?
Yes.

Yes. Parties. Drunk people. Fun times.

Who knows you better than anyone?
My boyfriend.

Do you want to get married?
Yes..... Yeah, I said that and no I'm not sick.

Do you enjoy anal sex?
Yep.

What household chore do you dislike most?
Hmmm... sweeping the floors.

Sometimes.

Are you hungry right now? If so, craving anything specific?
Yes. Cereal.

What is the last thing you cooked that was homemade and not made from a box, can or pre-frozen meal?

The Big Quote Post!

It's time for The Big Quote Post! I love doing group contribution posts. I get a good variety of things and I think the things people submit represent them, if only in a small way or if only a small part of what makes him who they are. The Big Picture Post was fantastic. I got more participation fro that then I ever dreamed of and I had a lot of fun seeing what everyone put out there.

I explained here what I wanted to do with the quote post and asked for people to participate by sending me their favorite quotes, proverbs, sayings, etc. Once again, I expected to get no less than 10 but no more than 20 people to contribute something for the post. Once again, I was happily surprised by the number of people who e-mailed something for me to use! Including my boyfriend and the few real life friends who sent some in, I had over 50 people submit stuff for me to use for this post. Y'all fucking rock. And even better, with that many people, there were only a handful of repeated quotes! Dr. Seuss was the one who repeated more often than anyone else.

To start, I'm going to post some of my favorite quotes/sayings/etc. I have far too many to include in this post. I requested no more than 10 from anyone willing to participate so I figured I'd just do 10 and stick to my own rules.

Send me quotes for my quote post! If you have e-mailed me quotes, saying, proverbs, etc already then thank you! I've got some really awesome quotes and I've already got a big portion of the post done. There is still time if you want to participate in the quote post. I will be posting it late Wednesday night/Thursday morning so y'all have until then to e-mail me something. Please check out the details if you want to send me something and take part in the group collaboration! Details are posted Here.

I was checking out shoes online last night. I love Demonia shoes, they have some awesome looking designs. I so want these and these. Along with around 20 other pairs of shoes on there, lol. I can't afford any of them but it's fun to look.

I had a really good weekend. It was the right combination of time with friends, time with the boyfriend, fun stuff, doing nothing and relaxation. All weekends should be that good. Except I would have been happier had the Stars won on Saturday night. Though the Stars don't play again until Wednesday so I'll have to pay more attention to the Mavs for a sports fix. The Cowboys game yesterday was a disappointment. Though I am happy we finally scored with less than a minute left in the fourth quarter. Otherwise, Green Bay would have totally shut us out and we haven't been shut out in 64 games. That almost came to an end yesterday.

Just a warning, I'm about to talk about my period so you might want to skip this paragraph if that is going to bug you. Anyway, I got a new toy to try from EF. I've been waiting for Aunt Flo to go away so I could try it out and now that I'm no longer bleeding and no longer feeling like someone is trying to crush me from the inside, I can give it a try. I have nothing against masturbating when I'm bleeding and yes I know orgasms can help cramps for most people but I just didn't feel like messing with it this time around because my cramps were too bad. I'm not a wuss at all when it comes to pain. I like pain to a certain extent but the last year or so, my cramps have gotten so bad that sometimes I have to stop and lean on something to stay standing. No offense, but don't offer advice on it. I do know what's wrong but it's not life threatening so there's nothing I can do about it for now. When I've got a steady job again (which I'll hopefully find out today if the hotel job works out or not!) I'll get it taken care of to where my period and cramps are manageable. Until then, I just deal with it. Thankfully it only last four days each month.

I'm supposed to/hopefully going to find out if I get the rocking job at the super nice hotel that I went on two interviews for. I know I passed the background check, I've never been in legal trouble. I also have no worries over the drug test as I don't do drugs anymore. It's just up to them whether to hire me or not. I really hope I get the job. *crosses fingers*

I'm going to be annoying and say this again... Read the details and then e-mail me your favorite quotes, proverbs, sayings, etc! Thanks to those that have, y'all rock.

Happy Monday!

The quiet scares me 'cause it screams the truth...

I'm doing another blog group project. I had so much fun doing The Big Picture Post that when I got the idea for this post, I decided to make it a group thing. Originally, I was just going to pick 15 or so of my favorite quotes, proverbs, sayings etc and post them on here. Then I figured, why not have people send me their favorite quotes? I think it's interesting to see what people find inspiring, special, amusing, etc so why not?

So, I'll post this sometime next week after I've got it all put together. Depends on the way the submissions go.

The format I'm planning for the Quote Post looks like this.

Sprinkle Faerie 62's favorites:
“Love me when I least deserve it, because that's when I really need it.” -Swedish Proverb

“Fear less, hope more; Eat less, chew more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Love more, and all good things will be yours." -Swedish Proverb

“I don't own any of my own paintings because a Picasso original costs several thousand dollars -- it's a luxury I can't afford.” -Pablo Picasso

If you want to participate, just send me a list of your favorite quotes, proverbs and/or sayings, just email them to me!

amorousrocker [at] gmail [dot] com

Please... no more than 10 quotes, proverbs, sayings etc per person.

Make sure to credit the quote, saying, proverb, etc to whomever the credit is due. (If it's a Swedish Proverb, say it's a Swedish proverb. If it's a Bill Clinton quote, say so. Etc.)

If you have more than one blog, let me know which blog (or Twitter, Tumblr, etc) that you want to be linked to for your quotes.

Don't have a blog? Just include your name or a nickname you want to be listed as for your submission.

So pick your favorites in 10 or less and e-mail them to me!

Do The Wave... or don't.

The Wave is an interesting looking toy. Designed to stimulate the g-spot and the clitoris at the same time with little nubs for added sensations. The design is what attracted me to it. So when it showed up in a box on my doorstep, I was anxious to give it a try. It looked like fun so I was happy to try it out courtesy of the awesome people at Tabu Toys. Though due to being sick for close to a month and then Mother Nature blessing me with her monthly gift right when I started to feel better from having the flu, I didn't get to try this toy out for quite some time.

The Wave is a multi-speed G-spot and clitoral vibrator. It's made out of jelly. I don't normally care for jelly but this toy looked interesting so I set aside my dislike of jelly to test it out. The toy isn't that small. It's 9 1/2" in total length. Though the curved shaft of the toy is only 4" in length.
The rest is made up of the clitoral stimulator and the handle. The Wave is 1 3/8" in diameter at it's widest point.

The curved shaft has a circumference of 3" at the smaller part close to the base of the clitoral stimulator then widens to a circumference of 4 1/2" inches. The bulbous head has little nubs all over for added stimulation.

The clitoral stimulator base is also covered in little nubs and has a diameter of 1 3/8". The bullet is also located in the middle of the toy, where the clitoral stimulator is.

The Wave is controlled by a light up control pack that connect to the toy via a lengthy cord. The control pack is powered by 2 AA batteries and unscrews at the bottom easily to insert the batteries. There are 4 levels vibration and you cycle through them with the arrows on the control pack, one arrow pointing up and one pointing down.

The Wave is made out of jelly, it's firm but slightly flexible. It's not very pliable but it isn't completely stiff either.

When I opened the toy, the smell was a little off putting. Thought the smell was only slight, not near as bad as other jelly toys I've had to try.

I put the batteries into the control pack and then cleaned the toy off. I ran my fingers over the little nubs over the bulbous head and the clitoral bump. They felt okay but slightly rough. I used a water-based lube to lube the toy up and started my play.

That bulbous head with the nubs all over it? Ouch! From the get go, it hurt putting it in. I stopped trying and grabbed another vibrator to work myself open a bit more. Once I wasn't as tight, I tried The Wave again. The nubs on the bulbous head still hurt going in but once you get the toy in place, the nubs on the head don't hurt anymore. The shaft didn't really hit my g-spot but the clitoral stimulator fit snugly against my clit when the toy was in place. The shaft seemed a little too long inside me though and it felt slightly awkward. I love g-spot stimulation but it just wasn't rocking it for me.

The hump that the clitoral stimulator is on felt damn good though. The nubs there weren't as abrasive as the nubs on the head. The vibrations were nice and felt good against my clit.

Despite hurting on the way in, once the shaft was inserted, the nubs on the head weren't painful. I was only able to rock the toy side to side slightly. As I said, the shaft didn't hit my g-spot so the rocking didn't really do much for me there. The clitoral stimulation was quite nice but it just wasn't enough to get me off.

Pulling the toy out was as painful and annoying as putting the toy inside me was. The nubs on the head are just too abrasive to feel good.

I did try to use the head on my clit but that didn't do much either. The bullet is located in the middle of the toy in the hump where the clitoral stimulator is. The vibrations don't travel very well to the head of the toy. Which might be a reason why the shaft, once inserted and in place, didn't do much for me. I couldn't really feel the shaft vibrating much, even on the highest setting. So using the head on the clit didn't do so hot for me either.

The toy is not for sliding in and out of your vagina. Even if you wanted to, the uncomfortable nubs on the head are painful enough that sliding it in and out wouldn't feel good at all.

There are four level of vibrations. The highest setting is a good vroom. The lowest one isn't much. The second and third settings are decent. As I said though, the vibrations don't travel very well to the end of the toy so the shaft and head only get a low to mild vibration.

The Wave isn't very noisy. Some low background noise would cover up the noise of the vibrations pretty well and the noise it makes isn't at all distracting.

The control pack is attached to the toy via a cord that is pretty lengthy. The cord doesn't really get in the way and the control pack is easy to operate.

The handle is one of the better features of the toy. Though once inserted, the toy doesn't move much. The handle makes it quite easy to have a good hold on the toy and get a lot of control over it.

The toy can be used anally but I didn't try it. It hurt enough going in my vagina and being removed, no way was I trying it in my ass. I also imagine it would be difficult to keep a condom over the toy based on the design.

It's also waterproof but I didn't test that feature honestly. The abrasive nubs on the head really turned me off of experimenting with this toy a lot.

The design is interesting but it isn't going to fit everyone. The clitoral stimulator was perfectly in place once I had the toy inserted but I didn't get any g-spot stimulation from the shaft at all. Had the shaft been a little shorter and curved up slightly more, it would have hit my g-spot perfectly. We're all built differently so there isn't really a way to tell if the toy is going to fit your body comfortably or not just by looking at it.

Cleaning was super easy though. The nubs were easy to get clean and with some warm water and soap the toy was clean as new. That funky smell wasn't as noticeable after I washed it either.

I think had the nubs on the head been less abrasive and had I actually been able to feel some g-spot stimulation, I would have LOVED this toy. I love the concept of it but this toy just didn't do it for me. Though I'm sure there are those of you out there who would absolutely love it.

And the winner is....

Are you one of the people who took a guess at yesterday's post?

I got 158 unique visitors yesterday and only 12 people made a guess. Which honestly, is more than I expected, lol.

Someone did guess correctly! More so, two someones guessed correctly.

The winners?

Purple_Foxglove and Mina!

I was rinsing with Listerine in the picture.

Though, I did enjoy seeing all the guesses. Curvaceous Dee made me chuckle the most with her guess. Thanks to all who played along with me and took a guess! I might do this again sometime soon. It's fun and I enjoy seeing the things people come up with. Next time, I'll make it a little more difficult. ;)

Review to come soon! I can't get the pictures off my damn phone right now and that is all I'm waiting for. I've sent them, they just haven't shown up in my e-mail yet. I could take pictures off a website but I'd rather use my own. So, hurry up AT&T/Gmail. Which ever of the two is to blame for the delay in my pictures! Heh. =o)

I've heard it all before...

I took this picture last night. Well, rather I took this picture at 4 AM but I had not been to bed yet so it was still "Friday night" to me despite the technicality of it really being Saturday morning. I digress.

Who can guess what I'm doing in the picture? Aside from the obvious.

I'm obviously looking/focusing on something.

I'm obviously taking a picture.

What am I doing though?

You get one hint.

I had just taken my make-up off (yes, my face is naked of cosmetics in this picture) so that gives you an idea of what room I'm in.

I am doing something while I stand there though. Though the picture doesn't really leave room to give away what I'm doing so you have to be creative and just take a random shot in the dark. Any guesses?

The winner gets a prize. Could be a sign picture. Could be a work of art done in paint. Could be a special piece of writing. If anyone even guesses correctly, they'll figure out what the prize is.

Only one guess per person so make it count! If you guess more than one thing, I'm going to count your first answer as the guess for the shot at the lame prize.

I'll post the answer on Sunday.

I also have a review I'm posting on Sunday. I've had a difficult time with this one, lol.

Woohoo.

Happy Saturday!

She has a sense of humor...

Got a text message from my friend, The Model, yesterday. It made me chuckle.

"AR there is a bra by VS that supposedly makes u look 2 cupsizes bigger! STAY AWAY FROM THAT BRA!"

I replied back, "No worries, VS doesn't even make bras in my size so I never even go in there."

The Model, "Haha! Whew. They prob don't make that particular bra in your size anyway. With tits as huge as yours, you don't need to look 2 cup sizes bigger."

She speaks the truth, lol.

So while I was texting with The Model, I had an idea. I haven't done a "Through Their Eyes" post in a long time. I did the first one with Boyfriend, the second with The Artist and the third with Fangs. I explained it to The Model and asked her if she wanted to do one. She said sure, I told her I would e-mail her the questions and to get them back to me when she could. Two hours later, she sent me a text to let me know she had answered them and e-mailed the questions back to me. Sweet! She's so busy, I was expecting it to take several days but she didn't have anything planned Monday night so it gave her something amusing to do. Yay!

For those who have never read one of the "Through Their Eyes" that I have done, this is the way this goes. The first 10 questions are for The Model. She answers them about herself just to give y'all some random information about my friend. Then questions 11 through 50 are questions she answers about me in her own words and her own opinions. I don't edit her answers and she's free to say what she wants. So without further adieu....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There we have it. I have trouble doing these because most of my real life friends don't know about my blog so I can't just ask them to do these for me, lol. I have a few friends who know about it and a couple of them haven't done one of these yet so I'll have to hit them up and see if they will be willing. Though, someone gave me the idea to do one with bloggers who have followed me for a long time... just make it shorter and change the questions up. I'm not sure on that one though. I might just have to make up an excuse to get friends who don't know my blog to answer a quiz about me and use it, lol. We'll see.

I'm feeling better. Thanks for the concern. I've been sick for a little over three weeks now but I'm doing tons better than I was. Stupid flu. I'm glad I'm feeling better. I have toy reviews, emails, blogging, resume updating, ebay listing and tons of other junk I need to get caught up on doing. I am way behind on stuff because I've pretty much been in bed and sleeping a lot in a medicated state over the last few weeks. Awesome right? It's all good.

Happy Tuesday!
